Hi there and greetings from beautiful Winchester, Hampshire.  Winchester has won “Best place to live in the UK” on several occasions, and our students and group leaders just love it!

The accompanying photo is a shot of our famous Cathedral, the longest in England and stuffed with history, including the remains of Jane Austen, the renowned author of Pride and Prejudice.  Colin Firth, the actor who appeared as Mr Darcy in the 1995 film of the novel, is also from Winchester.

We are already OPEN for full-immersion courses – intensive courses with high-quality accommodation in selected host families.  The teacher comes each day to give lessons, based on the brief provided by our Director of Studies, who calls each student before they come to confirm their objectives.  It’s all being organized in a Covid-secure way – statement on our website.

We’ll be re-launching mini-stays in late autumn or in the new year, depending on the virus situation.  We need to know that groups and group leaders will be safe and that we can deal with any issues that arise.

Our summer courses in Winchester, Petersfield and Lymington (no, not famous towns, but for that reason much more “English” than tourist hot-spots) will run next year with the same prices and programme.  Excellent offers for agents who book groups.
